Motorsport and Event Photography
The first weekend in October was an exciting and busy one with work a two events 100 miles apart.
Saturday
On the Saturday it was great privilege to support our services when the British Army asked Allinson’s Photography to provide a professional PR Photographer to cover a big TA recruitment event in the centre of Newcastle upon Tyne. They needed a professional photographer to capture all the various elements of the day’s demonstrations, equipment and troops. It was a flat out days work that went long into the night with post production work needing to be finished for the Sunday morning.
Sunday
On the Sunday I made an early start and took the relatively short drive of about 100 miles up to East Fortune Race Circuit near North Berwick to cover the last motorcycle race meeting of the season for the NEMCRC (North East Motorcycle Racing club).
Though overcast the weather held out for the day with only the one “wet Race”. While the racing proved as exciting as ever the lighting was not the best as it often the case for us living in the North East but I wasn’t going to let this stop me grabbing some exciting photographs of this great sporting event. All I can do now is look forward to next season where I hope to capture many more exciting photographs of this grass roots local Motorsport with the NEMCRC at Croft and East Fortune Race circuits.
