Time to update our overdue news & blog posts
Back from trips to Sunny Somerset and our busiest couple of months of photography work and everything else
I can’t believe it’s been so busy that I’ve not made a News/Blog update since April and it’s been just as long since our little Newsletter went out to friends, clients and other subscribers.
Arctic Ride 2014 returns triumphant
So much has happened since my last “Blog Post”, for a start our sponsored Charity Challenge hero Arctic Ride 2014 has been and done it. 22 days, 9 countries, circa 6,000 miles.
So, lets start with how delighted we are that Gordon Stuart rode his Suzuki Motorcycle with our little AP (Allinson’s Photography) logo on board to the Arctic Circle and back. In doing so we are pleased to have played our small part in helping Gordon Stuart Raise much needed funds for Cerebra. It’s not to late to donate you can do it here online.
Gordon has absolutely smashed his original target to raise £2500 for Cerebra and has almost doubled that, (see the current total here). I’m sure with a few more small donations and some extra activity on twitter and other social networks it can be even more. Please Follow Arctic Ride 2014 on the internet and if you can not give cash you can support by tweeting the individual Blog Posts or charing them on Facebook etc.
The total in Funds Raised is only part of the story when it comes to the support Arctic Ride 2014 has received for the challenge. Allinson’s Photography is not the only sponsor to support Arctic Ride with publicity, services and supplies. The NEMCRC (North East Motorcycle Racing Club), Custom Lids, Newcastle Rider Training, Suzuki GB, and many other companies, clubs and individuals have given cash for fuel and supplies, as well as goods and services such as tyres, motorcycle service, rider training, video and much more including of course professional photography. You can find out more on the Arctic Ride 2014 sponsors page
Be sure to visit Arctic Ride 2014 when Gordon showcases the bike and trip at the Bikewise Motorcycle Show in Durham on 20th July. It’s always a great show and I’m sure Gordon will be delighted to see you and chat about the success of his recent challenge.
