Commercial Photographer

As a Commercial Photographer in Birmingham on September 30th 2016 we were photographing the brands and footfall, (people) in the Bullring Shopping Centre, Birmingham for a client working in the advertising industry.

Working in shopping centres can bring its own set of challenges with; permissions, insurance and keeping the public safe while working in busy areas.

This was very much a commercial photography job commissioned for commercial use. However, I do feel the results provide an excellent social record of the busy consumer driven shopping centres of the UK.

(Edit 2023 – even more of an historic social record since retail and the high street with many of these brands have suffered and changed so much following the lockdowns in 2020).
